Can YEAR search words spoken in videos?
Yes. YEAR can transcribe selected videos using Apple’s Speech framework and make spoken words searchable.
Does YEAR upload my photos or videos?
No. YEAR does not upload your media to a YEAR server. The searchable index is built locally on your device.
Does it search objects like “black jacket”?
Not in v1 unless that text appears in the screenshot or transcript.
