Overview

TapWar is a social voting app. You create anonymous text cases and get verdicts from other people. This policy explains how we handle your information.

What we collect

TapWar uses anonymous identifiers. No account, email, phone number, or real name is required. You submit text-only cases without personal identification. If you submit a case, the text and an anonymous case ID are stored. Cases shared publicly may be visible to others.

When you report a case, the report reason and case ID are stored for moderation. We may collect basic anonymized usage analytics to improve the app.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not require real identities.
• We do not host private sexual content, threats, doxxing, or content involving minors.
• We do not use case content for unrelated advertising or profiling.

Voting and content data

Your votes are linked to an anonymous device identifier. We do not associate votes with real identities. Case content is stored to provide the service and enforce safety rules.

Reports and moderation

Reported cases are reviewed. Cases violating our safety rules may be hidden or removed. Report data is retained for moderation and safety enforcement purposes.

Ads and purchases

TapWar may display ads through third-party networks. Any in-app purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's privacy policy. We do not receive or store payment card details.

Data retention and deletion

Case data and anonymous identifiers are retained as long as necessary to provide the service. You can request deletion by contacting support@getyear.app.

Children's privacy

TapWar is not intended for anyone under 17. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
